We are a well-functioning rural health center with permanent staff, satisfied patients, and newly renovated, modern premises that create an inspiring work environment. The health center has a catchment area of about 7,000 patients and offers a wide range of services including assessment clinics, child health care, mental health, laboratory, foot care, and mobile home care. We collaborate closely with the rehabilitation unit and maternity care for a cohesive care chain.

About the job
Your tasks at the health center span a broad field and cover the general medical area where you meet patients of all ages and situations. You work health-promoting, advisory, and treatment-oriented in primary care, both via phone, home visits, digital health meetings, and at the clinic.
The work involves both acute and planned activities. You will largely work independently with your own clinic where you triage, treat, and follow up patients. Close collaboration occurs with your colleagues in the unit and cross-professionally in the team, but also together with other actors such as home care and other specialist care. Together with the health center management, you are responsible for developing and driving the operations forward. Educating future colleagues is an important and rewarding part of our mission, therefore mentoring students is also included as part of your role at the health center.
About you
You are a licensed nurse, preferably with specialist training as a district nurse. It is an advantage if you have experience from working in primary care and we would like you to have experience in telephone counseling. It is also advantageous if you have a mentoring education of 7.5 credits.
We are looking for someone who takes initiative in their work and is confident in making their own decisions. You are meticulous, have good problem-solving skills, and can effectively prioritize among your tasks.
In your work, you meet many patients, so it is important that you are accommodating, attentive, and have a desire to help others. We also believe that you enjoy teamwork and have a natural ability to collaborate with colleagues and other contacts in your work. You can express yourself well in both speech and writing, and you are an engaged and good listener in both digital meetings and visits to the clinic. We would also like you to have an interest in digitalization and business development.

Travel in the service occurs, a B driver's license is required.

About the recruitment process
The selection is done in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who call relevant candidates for a phone interview. Thereafter, the recruiting manager makes a second selection of the applicants and invites them for an interview at the health center.
We use competency-based interviews which means that the answers to the questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalizing answers – this is so we can understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the outcome was.
